Event Description

People use the word “dialogue” to describe a variety of conversations and communication styles. At Essential Partners, we’ve developed a proven, highly adaptable approach called Reflective Structured Dialogue (RSD). RSD is designed to help people build relationships across differences to address their communities’ most pressing challenges.

It does this by empowering communities, schools, and institutions to create healthier communication dynamics, new or strengthened relationships, and an improved sense of belonging—even where there are highly polarized conflicts around differences of identities, values, and perspectives.

This three-hour introduction to RSD, which will provide a complete Reflective Structured Dialogue experience. The objectives are:

  • To experience the power of EP’s Reflective Structured Dialogue approach;
  • To understand some of the theory behind the practice;
  • To reflect on the impact of the structures and facilitation approach; and
  • To begin to imagine possible contexts in which RSD can support your purposes

Participants should come prepared to engage in a live, real-life dialogue with other participants that is facilitated by an EP-trained facilitator.

If the cost of this event creates a burden to entry, consider applying for a scholarship. Thanks to our generous donors, EP can offer a limited number of free registrations for public events and workshops.
