Aba Taylor

Aba Taylor is a Member of the Board of Directors at Essential Partners and currently serves as the executive director of the Brookline Community Foundation. She has spent the last twenty-five years engaged in social justice as an educator, facilitator, organizer, consultant, and nonprofit leader. From working internationally at the United Nations to conducting civil rights trainings all over the United States, to leading high impact social justice organizations and efforts, Aba has committed herself to supporting the capacity and leadership of nonprofit, educational and philanthropic organizations dedicated to social transformation.

Aba has also been involved in numerous community efforts as a volunteer and board member of several grassroots organizations, and is currently the Board President of the Neighborhood Schools Inc.

Aba holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia University and a Master of Arts degree in Nonprofit Leadership and Management from the School of International Training. She is a Rockwood Leadership Institute alumnus and a certified trainer with Quabbin Mediation.
