Jordan Brown

Jordan Brown (she/her) is a Communications Associate at Essential Partners. She brings a background in broadcast journalism, having spent eight years telling thoughtful, engaging stories that helped audiences better understand their communities.

Before joining Essential Partners, Jordan worked as a local news reporter and anchor across three television markets, covering everything from breaking news to education, health, culture, and community issues. Throughout her journalism career, she believed that listening well and telling impactful stories could help people feel seen, understood, and connected.

At Essential Partners, Jordan brings that same curiosity and people-centered approach to communications, creating content and telling stories that help foster understanding and strengthen connections across communities.

Jordan's work has been recognized with an Emmy Award and honors from the Radio Television Digital News Association of the Carolinas.

Originally from metro Detroit, Jordan now calls the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina home. Outside of work, you'll usually find her reading a good book, trying new restaurants, enjoying live music, or baking.
