Dialogues for the Health Care Community

It is a unique moment of isolation, loss, uncertainty, and strain for those working in health care and especially those on the front line with COVID-19. To persevere and overcome these challenges, the health care community needs intentional spaces to reflect upon and process their experiences together—opportunities to have meaningful conversations that connect and support people at this time of unprecedented crisis.

To that end, Essential Partners invites members of the healthcare community—medical providers, administrators, and support staff—to attend a free, facilitated small-group dialogue. Participants will have the chance to talk with others in the field, to hear and be heard by one another about what matters most in this moment.

These small-group dialogues are designed to re-ground the participants in their strengths, to let them mourn what has been lost, and to help them envision a future for themselves, their colleagues, and their communities beyond this crisis.

The 75–90 minute dialogues will take place via Zoom at 12:00 pm Eastern Time on

  • Thursday, February 4
  • Thursday, February 18
  • Thursday, March 4

If you or other members of the health care community in your area are interested in this program but cannot attend these sessions, please reach out to make arrangements for dialogues by emailing info@whatisessential.org.
