Launch Event for Laura Chasin Book

Thursday, November 15, 2018 - 7:00pm to 9:00pm
Bastille Kitchen, 49 Melcher Street, Boston, MA 02210

Join Essential Partners' staff, board, associates, and co-founders as we celebrate the life and continuing legacy of our late founder, Laura R. Chasin.

Maggie Herzig, a dear friend and colleague to Laura, and fellow co-founder of EP (originally, the Public Conversations Project) will release her new biography, titled Laura Chasin: Fostering Connection in a Divided World. Together we will share our fondest memories of Laura and reflect on the impact her life's work has had for communities in the US and abroad. We will also share recent stories from the work of Essential Partners, which continues to advance her vision of a more connected world. Copies of Maggie's new book will be available at the event.

All proceeds from this event, as well as gifts or event sponsorships made in Laura's honor, will benefit the Laura R. Chasin Memorial Fund, supporting Essential Partners in its continuing mission to foster constructive dialogue and connection where conflicts are driven by differences in identity, beliefs, and worldviews.
