About this Workshop

The COVID-19 epidemic has changed the way people work. Moving to a virtual office can generate unnecessary conflicts and confound existing communication systems, reducing productivity and effectiveness.

How do you ensure that teams are as cohesive and efficient as they would be in an office? How can colleagues foster the creativity and collaboration that are so crucial to the bottom line? How can coworkers build the strong relationships and mutual trust that they need to be resilient when times get tough?

Communication is key, now more than ever. For 30 years, Essential Partners has taught people to communicate effectively in tough moments, to design norms that encourage cohesion and resilience, and to create cultures of creativity, inclusiveness, and innovation.

In this online training, Essential Partners’ expert practitioners will use a framework to identify concrete steps to implement new systems that meet the unprecedented challenges businesses and nonprofits face today. You’ll have an opportunity to name challenges you’re facing and apply the EP framework to meet your unique needs.

The first hour of this online workshop will feature instructor-led learning, followed by a 30-minute breakout working group session.

As a result of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • identify new challenges and changes in the shift to a virtual office
  • deploy a framework to respond in ways that create more cohesive, connected, and engaged teams
  • and learn tools to support constructive, efficient virtual communication.

This crisis challenges C-suite leaders, team managers, and human resource officers, not to mention the tens of millions of coworkers who have always enjoyed the benefits of an office. By thinking strategically about company culture, Essential Partners can help ensure that the move to a virtual office doesn’t undermine your success.
