Like all communities, communities of faith are characterized as much by their diversity as by their shared identity, beliefs, and values. Conflict can arise in times of transition, or around differences in theology, worship, and identity. Dealing with such divisive issues can be challenging. In this workshop, you and your community’s leaders will explore ways to prepare for conflict, prevent corrosive interactions, and help your members engage each other constructively. The workshop draws on the experience of the Public Conversations Project and our partner practitioners in helping communities of faith and other organizations transform conflict into constructive conversation.
